This option is the standard that was used for years prior to discovering
the other service methods for cost savings.
Under this option, the owner would hire an architect and engineer,
develop the construction documents, request bids from numerous contractors,
select the lowest or best contractor, enter into a contract with the
successful bidder and build the project. Remember, under this option,
each bidder will only quote what is on the drawings.
